COMTOA STANDS BEHIND OBOREVWORI'S MOVE TO APC:COMRADE KOSOKO
The reception of Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori of Delta State, former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, and their supporters into the All Progressives Congress (APC) fold by the Vice president,Kashim Shettima has been described as a welcome development.
The State Director General,Taskforce on Commercial Motorcycle and TRICYCLE operators in Delta State,(COMTOA), Comrade Uchenna Okafor who stated this in an interview said the decision of the stake holders was a wise choice.
The Deputy General,aka, KOSOKO, said the movement will attract more Federal presents and speedy infrastructural development in the state.
Comrade Okafor said members of the COMTOA are solidly behind Governor Oborevwori and all like minds in moving the state forward.
He said the move was a strategic realignment ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the potential to attract more federal projects and speed up infrastructural development in Delta State.
The Director General emphasized that they are now part of the party's decision-making process.and a strategic move to support President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, aligning with Governor Oborevwori's own development more agenda for Delta State.
He noted that the development could significantly impact the 2027 general elections, potentially favoring President Tinubu and the APC, while also signaling a shift in the balance of power in the South-South region.
Comrade Uchenna Okafor's optimism surrounding the development in Delta State stems from the belief that the recent political shift will attract more federal projects and speed up infrastructural development.
As the State Director General of the Taskforce on Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle Operators in Delta State (COMTOA), Okafor thinks this move will bring about positive change and progress.
